This should make tho kids study more history!
We have a four box system,the soap box,the ballot box,the jury box,and the cartridge box.

  That was fascinating, a piece of history well worth preserving. I remember seeing the civil defense signs, bomb shelters and all that. Of course none of them would have survived even a near miss but we had to try I guess. Thanks for posting!

Oh wow, that's really amazing. I guess over time, the people who knew it existed, dwindled, and the information didn't get passed on. I find it fascinating, though.

I do to. 

I know if it was at my school, I would use it for history, psychology and sociology students.  I would even throw in a basic math class and use it to teach ratios and calculate how long everything would last and recalculate with different amounts of people.
