I'm doing mostly container gardening this year but never thought corn could be grown in one! I wasn't very good at growing corn the regular way though so I don't know if I could pull off container corn.

I have a package of corn seeds I bought two years ago and never used because we turned the clay soil garden spot into a pen for the horses. I made several garden beds, but didn't even think to plant corn in them. I think I will be using the bigger one for corn, as it isn't too late to plant this year. It will be interesting to see how well it does, even though the soil isn't going to be the same mixture as in the video. I'm sure it will benefit from the alpaca pellets that are in that particular garden bed.

She didn't mention the size of comtainer. I'm sure there needs to be a minimun depth. Any ideas? Looks like the standard 50 qt rubbermaid?

Thanks for posting such an informative video. Corn is one of my favorite vegetables but I never thought I'd be able to easily grow my own. This video was great and clearly showed each step, I might give this a go. I won't get my seeds from a national park though ha ha.

Great video! I would of never thought corn would grow so close together. I would of thought it would need more space then that, great info.
