Deli Survival Kit
« on: April 21, 2012, 02:44:06 PM »

Pretty cute, huh? It was as a party favor for a wedding reception taking place at a deli. For the city, having something like this is imperative for not having bad breath or an upset tummy the rest of the night, don't you think? Hehe.

Awww - what a great idea! I think that is really a cute thing to give out to the guests at your Wedding reception. I like it when people get creative! At my nephews wedding, each person had a box of assorted fine chocolates at their place setting. That was a big hit!

At one of my friend's weddings, the church had an "emergency kit" in the bride room.  It had Tums, aspirin, gum, water, safety pins, and a small sewing kit.  :)  I loved the idea.
Better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.

Oh that's a good idea, too! The sewing kit would be so valuable for any last minute tweaks while getting ready or missing sequins that need tacked on, etc. I'd add a little Shout! wipe, too, in case anything spilled on the dress. You never know.

This is the first time I've seen anything like this. But, this may be useful in more ways than one.

I'm a sucker for retro packaging too and love the creativity of the deli survival kit. Did the deli offer other survival kits? I'm sure that there are few other occasions they could cater for.  :)

From the sounds of it, they did this special order by request. I bet if other requests were made, they'd follow up with them, though, and make a killing off them.

Thanks for replying Jessi.  ;) Perhaps they should create a special catalogue or website that people could order from. I'm sure they would do well as word would spread through word of mouth pretty quickly.  8)
