Excellent write-up and looks like a solid piece.  Indeed, a papered SBR version would be very nice.  8)

General

SLR-106U - Import, 5.56 NATO caliber is a stamped receiver, with non-functional pinned on flash hider goes over the 10 1/2 in. chrome lined hammer forged barrel and black polymer furniture.  Popularly known as a Krink, an AK Pistol or a Krink Pistol.

Range Report

I ordered this SLR-106U through K-Var, which appears to be be Arsenal's primary distributor .  The purchase went to Discount Gun Sales, which had great customer service btw.  I made my purchase right after all the Sandy Hook madness, so I purchased it along with 6 30 rd mags.  Included in my purchase was a genuine OD Bulgarian Krink Case, sling, one 5-round magazine, oil bottle, and cleaning kit.

_______________________

I put over 200 rds through this gun over the course of a week out in the desert.  I experienced zero malfunction between 6 different 30 rd polymer mags. A couple members of our party requested to load a few mags with their .223 ammunition, again performed flawlessly in their hands.  It has also been my intention to SBR this firearm but the recoil is so negligible it's kind of hard getting the motivation to change anything about it.  I was hitting tanerite targets 50-60 yards out, no problem.  I found this gun particularly accurate and effective within 25-30 yds (without a stock).  Did I also mention it's a total kick in the pants to blast a hillside with!?!  It is by far one of the funnest guns I've shot.

Summary

Thus far this Krink has outperformed my expectations. Once I have completed a stock installation it will be everything I need for a ranch gun and more.

Weapons / Re: Remington 870 feeding issue

Before replacing the magazine spring, you might try removing the end cap and thoroughly cleaning the magazine tube.  For whatever its worth, a mag spring is only $6-9.00, so its not a spendy thing to try.

The reason I don't think it's the spring itself is because I took the end cap off the mag tube and pushed the spring down quite a bit and it still had the issue.  I figured since the first 3 shells in the mag load perfectly that if I matched the spring tension of what it would be like with 2 shells in the mag it would feed properly, but it still got caught half way in.  I'll clean it up and mess around with it before I drop some money on it for sure.  It's just pretty strange that it isn't working now that I haven't fired it in a few months.  Can't really complain about a $200 shotgun though...
